Patient drop-off instructions:

  • Canine check-in and drop-off is between 7:00 am – 7:30 am. Feline check-in and drop-off is between 7:30 am-8:00 am.
  • All felines MUST be brought in a secure carrier. If you have multiple feline appointments, each feline is required to be in its own carrier. We do have cardboard carriers available for $10.00.
  • Upon arrival, please leave your pet in your car and check in with a staff member outside of our front entrance to receive your surgical paperwork. If your pet is up to date on their Rabies vaccine, please bring your certificate to our staff at this time for verification.
  • If there is availability in our lobby at this time, we will ask you to complete your check in and payment inside. If needed, our staff member outside will issue you a pager and ask you to return to your car to review/fill out the required paperwork.
  • If you are issued a pager, once your pager sounds/vibrates, please return to our staff member outside to turn in your pager and proceed to our lobby to finish your check-in and payment.
  • Our Client Service Representative will give you further instructions to exit the lobby and to bring your pet in our patient intake room after your check-in is completed.

You guys are terrific.

Unfortunately due to continued power outages, we will be CLOSED 12/7. We have reached out to all appointments scheduled for tomorrow. Please continue to monitor this page for updates. We are hopeful that we will be able to operate normally on Thursday based in the updates provided by Duke Energy!

Our Mission

Located at 5071 US Hwy 1 N, Vass NC, the Sandhills Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic (SNVC)Ā is a high quality, high volume, low cost spay neuter veterinary clinic. SNVC has provided spay/neuter surgeries in Moore County and surrounding counties since 2008. Ā Here at SNVC, our mission is to reduce pet overpopulation and increase the quality of life for pets through increasing accessibility to spay and neuter services to cats and dogs in our local, and surrounding areas. SNVC works with area animal shelters, rescues, and individual pet owners to provide affordable pet surgeries in North Carolina to achieve our mission.

Sandhills SNVC is typically booked out for appointments 4-6 weeks for females, and 2-4 weeks for males. Once you have made an appointment request we will be in touch with more information for your upcoming appointment.
